Technical Manager- Do you have between experience as a Technical Manager within the Events/LED Industry? Would you like to join an international technical production events company that provide you the opportunity to progress? How about working for a company who give you the platform to succeed? Having recently invested heavily in an amazing LED framework system, this is a great opportunity to utilise and progress your LED and video experience and to help produce fantastic world class events. You will head the company s LED department and will be required to assist the business in maintaining its LED and video equipment to the highest standards. This important role provides an interface between technical and commercial requirements with responsibility for the planning and on-site delivery of LED systems. You may currently be working as an AV project manager in live events or as a senior LED technician, looking to make the next move in your career. This role requires a strong technical background, with particular emphasis on LED. You will need to demonstrate experience of working at conferences, congresses and award shows. A reasonable knowledge of virtual events and associated streaming/platforms would also be useful. Company Benefits- £52K DOE Private Medical Insurance Season ticket loan & Free Railcard Flexible working hours Development and Training, Bike2Work scheme 23 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays Pension Role duties, skills and experience desired- -Specific experience, knowledge and skills relating to LED equipment -Ability to work independently to install, configure, and problem solve LED video walls -Technical competence in sound for live events with a reasonable understanding of lighting -Proven experience in technical roles, working within the live events industry, either as an employee or freelancer -Good understanding of event power, cable runs and event-based health and safety -Ability to calculate lens throws, lighting angles, weight loads, speaker dispersion, power draws, sight lines, floor load restrictions etc. -CAD skills (deciphering and creating) in Vectorworks or equivalent CAD program -Some understanding of virtual events and associated technologies Schedule- Monday-Friday 39.5 Hours
