REACH Compliance Specialist London £40,000 to £50,000 The Company We are a well renowned, multinational company who provides integrated business services to our partners all over the world to enhance value throughout the supply chain. We do this by applying knowledge, experience and core skills in market development, finance, logistics, investments, and information to solve specific business problems across a broad range of commodities and services. The Role The REACH Compliance Specialist will support the trade compliance and control related to the chemical regulations in EMEA. You will also analyse trade compliance requirements, plan and implement compliance programs for our Europe bloc logistics operations, focusing on chemical regulations with a particular emphasis on monitoring compliance procedure and resolving problems. Key Responsibilities • Maintain and improve compliance scheme for international and European regulations on hazardous chemicals. • Conduct compliance checks and follow them up in timely manner to ensure appropriate remedial actions have been taken by Business Units as necessary • Provide periodical trainings and workshops for the EMEA business units and our affiliates on REACH and CLP related matters, create presentations and e-learning materials • Support business departments through the REACH compliance program • Operation and Maintain new REACH systems, ExESS and PUBLICHEM • Compile, submit and maintain REACH registration dossiers via IUCLID when required and ensure the consistency of information communicated within supply chain • Author REACH compliant SDS and E-SDS whenever required by Business Units • Support business departments in the CLP compliance program and monitor compliance with CLP regulatory requirements • Submit and monitor PCN and SCIP Notifications for articles as necessary • Support business departments in REACH/CLP enforcement authorities audit • Analyse other EU and UK regulatory compliance requirements related to chemicals for import/export and support business departments in their compliance procedures (BPR, RoHS, PIC, Waste regulation, Food additives, Drug precursors etc) Requirements for the role • Candidates should be educated to degree level or equivalent experience • Experience in REACH and CLP implementation and monitoring compliance • Knowledge of import and export customs procedures • Experience in other chemical regulations such as BPR, RoHS, PIC etc (Desirable) • Some experience working within global logistics structure would be advantageous If you like the look of this role but you re hesitant to apply because you don t meet all of the necessary skills, then I ll encourage you to apply anyway.
