RSR Police is a market leading recruitment business dedicated to supplying experienced practitioners on a temporary, contractual or permanent basis to the Law Enforcement, Cyber Security, Offender Management and Regulatory Services talent markets. RSR Police are currently recruiting on behalf of Warwickshire Police for a HR Officer to provide professional HR advice and support to line managers and supervisors across the designated Directorate on all HR matters. This is a full time, fixed term contract for 6 months and offers a salary of £36,231 to £41,517. Main Duties: Advise managers on all matters relating to the management of their staff, including employment and equality legislation, Police Regulations and Determinations, Police Staff terms and conditions of service, and HR and Diversity policies and procedures. Coach and support managers in the effective management of staff performance, attendance and conduct. Work collaboratively with the appropriate HR Service Centre staff to ensure changes to post and conditions of service etc are dealt with promptly. Work collaboratively with other HR colleagues to ensure the delivery of innovative, timely and cost effective HR policies, procedures and practices which support the achievement of organisational aims and objectives. Ensure managers and supervisors have access to timely and accurate management information in relation to their business areas. Support the HR Business Partner in the implementation of organisational change, including individual consultation and application of relevant policies and procedures Essential Requirements: Advanced level diploma in HR Management, or equivalent (e.g. Grad CIPD). Chartered membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development. Sound knowledge of employment and equality legislation, terms and conditions of employment. Experience of providing generalist HR advice to line managers within a complex organisation, including attendance and performance management, disciplinary and grievances, organisational change and employee relations. Excellent verbal and written communication skills including a proven ability to research and prepare management reports. This role will be subject to vetting and the successful individual will be required to obtain and maintain these clearances.
