Job Title: HR Immigration Specialist
Location: Mountain View, CA
Duration: 12+ months
Respond to high volume of immigration email and ticket inquiries to communicate policy, procedures, and resolve immigration related questions. Process emails using available tools (knowledge articles, internal US immigration portal). Apply judgement and escalate when needed.
Work with external immigration counsel and other vendors to ensure timely, high quality services are provided and SLAs are met
Partner closely with cross functional teams, Staffing, HR Reps, Payroll, Legal, Finance, HRIS, IT, etc.
Handle the daily administration of immigration related tasks (cross charges, auditing, record keeping, tracking)
Manage 1-2 programs within immigration
Run prevailing wage surveys (Radford) - daily and according to schedule
Participate in monthly business meetings with attorneys (prepare agenda, take minutes)
Facilitate the Annual Town Hall Meeting (an annual travel to HQ required)
Quarterly maintenance/content review of knowledge article database; create or update existing articles
Actively participate in the HR immigration team meetings (brainstorm, contribute ideas, process improvements, etc.) collaborating on all areas of immigration team's responsibility
Assist with immigration projects as needed
3-5+ years business immigration paralegal experience with NIV and IV matters
Experience working in a role that requires a high degree of confidentiality
High level of organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Demonstrated strong teamwork and collaborative skills
Demonstrated ability to work remotely and/or under minimal supervision
Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, One Drive, SharePoint, etc.)
Experience using applicant tracking systems
Proficiency in ticketing/knowledge base systems
Ability to learn and adapt and take on new challenges
Bachelor's degree or equivalent required
