We at Siamo are currently looking for experienced Calibration Room Technicians We at Siamo are extremely proud to be helping a local company in their search for a new experienced Calibration Room Technicians, This is a locally based company that are looking to increase the size of their team, they hold strong value's and ethics, along with a strong ethos of promoting with inside the company. About: £30,000 - £35,000 P/A NN4 Location 8 AM - 5 PM Monday - Thursday 8 AM - 1 PM Friday Extras: 4 x Salary Life Assurance 25 days Holiday + bank holidays Additional on site training given Key Requirements: Calibrations experience (2 Years) Work shop Experience (2 Years) Main Duties: To work individually and as part of a team to ensure that, in accordance with company requirements and industry standards, products and equipment are: Inspected, repaired, maintained, calibrated and tested manufactured delivered on time Provide assistance in the day to day smooth functions of the workshop and projects To assist with the service and manufacture of Electronic Track Gauges and other Measuring Equipment (including NDE) to company requirements and industry standards within time constraints Responsibilities: General Work responsibly ensuring both personal safety and the safety of others to comply with UK Health and Safety Legislation Follow technical drawings, company operating procedures and processes to meet company quality standards Work within the constraints and criteria communicated by the Calibration Team Leader and as necessary the Workshop Operations Supervisor. Take the initiative as empowered to whilst checking requirements and keeping Managers informed where necessary Produce reports and quotations. Check stock and complete Purchase Requisitions Calibration Room Technician Inspect, repair, manufacture, calibration and testing of Electronic Track Gauges and Measuring Equipment to Company requirements and industry Standards within time constraints Maintain a good working relationship with Calibration Room Staff Regularly check equipment used to calibrate Electronic Track Gauges to ensure it is fit for purpose and calibrated where required About You: Keen eye for detail Strong & effective communication skills Mechanical & Electrical mind set UK driving Licence Excellent time keeping Proven ability to work to tight time restraints What to do next:If this role sounds like you or somebody you know then please contact Josh today on (phone number removed)
