The Project Operating across the West Midlands region, the successful candidate will be overseeing various large New Build housing developments. Projects range in size and are often constructed in a number of phases. Good quality build and a high standard of customer care is a key focus. Requirements For this role it is essential that you carry the following professional qualifications as a minimum; SMSTS CSCS CardIt is also essential that you hold the experience below; Previous experience in a similar role overseeing high value new build residential or housing developmentsThe Role Job Title: Contracts Manager Job Type: Permanent Project: Various large New Build housing developments Reporting to: Construction DirectorDuties Draft, evaluate, negotiate and execute contracts Demonstrate negotiation and problem-solving skills Responsibility with quantifiable results in contract negotiation Provide both internal and external contract-related issue resolution Manage record keeping for all contract-related correspondence and documentation Communicate contractual changes to all stakeholders, administration and/or management Liaising with clients, local authorities, senior management and other third party stakeholders Monthly reporting to the Operations Manager and attending regular meetings with Regional Directors Establish and maintain supplier relationships by serving as a single point of contact for contractual matters Coordination and management of tenders, cost-planning and developing in preconstruction and construction phases Monitor and complete contract close-out, extension or renewal, as appropriate Communicate contract-related information to all stakeholders This is a permanent position with an excellent salary on offer for the successful candidate.
