Behaviour Mentor & SEMH Worker Behaviour Mentor & SEMH Worker London borough of Barking & Dagenham Behaviour Mentor & SEMH Worker - £15-£20 per hour Behaviour Mentor & SEMH Worker Full time long term contract Behaviour Mentor & SEMH Worker - Mainstream & PRU school students You will be expected to work 1:1 with KS1-KS5 students. The successful Behaviour Mentor will be able to earn the respect of the students through well-honed interpersonal abilities. At the same time, the successful Behaviour Mentor will be able to develop highly successful working relationships with the students families. Recent graduates or those experienced within SEMH Behaviour Mentoring. It is essential that you are reliable, composed, calm, resilient and patient. Strong interpersonal skills! The Behaviour Mentor role is ideal for aspiring or experienced Social Workers, SEMH workers and HLTA s Reporting directly to the Senior Leadership Team Working with school students who have been excluded from mainstream education. Primary through to KS5 classes Working on improving the students learning and social habits - either 1:1 or 2:1 Proactively dealing with behavioural issues and the related difficulties. Our purpose is to return students to specialist or mainstream education as soon as is practical. This role will be divided between working in Schools, Student s Homes, Community Centres and Libraries. These are ongoing, term-time only positions on supply.
