Quarterly Payroll Reporting
Reconciliation of the payroll processes and determination of the correct venues for taxes withheld
Reconciliation of tax payments and development of a quarter-end report
Determine who is responsible for additional costs in the event of errors
Prepare quarterly and annual tax forms
Create and review W-2 forms.
Assist In General Ledger Accounting
Assist and counsel clients to transfer all financial information to the company
Reconcile client bank statements
Respond to general financial questions the client may have
Internal Audit Functions
Prepare monthly reports and audit internal processes
Determine where processing is lacking and train staff when errors occur
Develop and assess internal/external processes to better serve the clients
Determine where a particular error occurred and decide if more procedures are needed in the future
Respond to municipalities that may process tax notices
Associates Degree in Accounting is required
0-3 years of experience
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to multi-task and accommodate changing priorities
Strong proficiency in MS Excel
